OUR POLICIES

 

We appreciate 7 Days Notice for any custom cake, or pastry order. It is often that we can fulfill orders with less notice, but one week is our official requirement. If you are looking to place a last minute order, please feel free to give us a call & we will do our best to take care of you! Last minute orders may be subject to a 10% late fee charge.

 

We need your help to specify any dietary restrictions or allergies when ordering cakes, or items from our menu. We are proud to offer gluten friendly, nut friendly & vegan options. Confections Cake Co. can not guarantee 100% gluten free, dairy free, sugar free or nut free products. Cross contamination is always a possibility whether it be in the kitchen, or from our ingredient providers.

Come visit to taste our standard desserts & showcase cakes which are available in house daily, for a dine-in & take out experience. Some items may not be available for take out depending on the method they are served. Our standard 6-inch showcase cakes are available for purchase each day, while quantities last - OR an order can be placed with 24 hours notice.

Confections Cake Co. requires full payment at the time of order for any order placed that is $100 or less. Payment is non-refundable. If an order above $100 is placed, we will collect a 50% non-refundable deposit with the remainder being due at time of pick up. This includes custom cakes, or any combinations of desserts or pastries. We kindly ask that you verify the details of your cake upon pickup. You will also be provided with a waiver to sign confirming that the cake meets your expectations & that Confections Cake Co. is not liable or responsible for any damages to the cake/pastries after pick up. Upon signing the waiver form, final payment will be due & you agree that final payment is non-refundable. If you are having a friend or family member pick up your order for you, this person will assume the responsibility of confirming the expectations of your order & the signing of our waiver form.

The waiver reads " I agree that the cake/pastries have the details requested. Confections Cake Co. is not liable for any damages to the cake/pastries after pick up or delivery. I acknowledge that payment for this order is non-refundable.  _________

All baking classes & cooking classes are to be paid in full at time of registration. Payment for our classes is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a class that you have registered for, we will be happy to forward you into a future class of equal or less value - Please try to let us know if you will not be able to attend class at your earliest convenience. Registration must be completed at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class date & time. Upon registering for classes you will be provided with a waiver to sign releasing Confections Cake Co. from any liability concerning possible injuries that might occur during class. We teach our classes in a fun, safe environment while thoroughly explaining the proper use of all baking/cooking tools & equipment. If you are registering a minor for a baking/cooking class at Confections Cake Co. a parent or guardian will be responsible for completing the waiver form.

 

The class waiver reads " I fully understand the possibility of injury while attending a baking/cooking workshop at Confections Cake Co. Confections Cake Co. is not liable for any injuries that may occur throughout the duration of the workshop.  _________

Booking a private event at Confections Cake Co. will require a non-refundable deposit of $100 to secure the date & time at time of booking. Pricing for private events at Confections will vary between $150 - $200 per hour depending on "peek hours" & day of the week. This amount will be a "minimum spend" between your guests. If your guests cover the minimum spend amount during your party, you will have no costs to cover at the end of the event. Custom cake orders will not be eligible towards the minimum spend amount for a private event.
